“It’s too far to the gym!”

We’ve all done it, I’ll visit the gym tomorrow when I’ve got more time and I’ve filled the car up with petrol!! Problem is that tomorrow usually arrives and you find another excuse. The problem with this is that you’re paying for a gym membership and you’re not loosing weight or achieving your fitness goals. Many people who have gym memberships enjoy the social aspect of visiting the gym and look forward to their visit. However there are some of us out there who want to keep fit and loose weight without using a gym. Maybe it’s the thought of the drive, the cost of parking the car, the gym showers, or the body builder who looks at you and makes you feel so pathetic.

During the summer there are plenty of outdoor activities such as running, walking, cycling, surfing and swimming to help us stay fit and loose weight. However during the winter months and for those of you who live in the cities these activities are not always possible. Exercising in the comfort of your own home is the answer and it’s becoming more affordable. You do not have to spend a lot of money, for example you could purchase a Swiss ball for as little as £18 and just sit on it whilst you watch your favourite TV show every evening. Yes that’s right just sitting on the ball is going to help, it builds up your core muscles and helps with coordination. If your budget is larger and you’re looking to loose weight then you may want to consider a crosstrainer, such as a Reebok 3 Series Elliptical, which provides a low impact cardio vascular workout. Websites such as www.exerciseequipment.co.uk offer such products at affordable prices and usually with free delivery. Just think you could purchase a few pieces of exercise equipment, such as a Tunturi R60 Rower and a Bremshey Pacer C Crosstrainer, and use them in the comfort of your own home. In fact your entire family could use the exercise equipment and feel the benefits. Just think no more gym showers, no more parking costs, no queuing for the piece of equipment you want to use and you can watch/listen to whatever you like.

If the idea of working out in the comfort of your own home sounds appealing why not visit www.exerciseequipment.co.uk and look at the large range of equipment available all with free delivery.
