Tunturi’s PSC – What is it and how does it benefit me?

Position Speed Control (PSC) has been developed by Tunturi to provide the most natural training ever on a treadmill. The speed of the treadmill can be controlled without touching any buttons, allowing complete concentration on your workout. Treadmills which feature PSC, such as the Tunturi T60, measure your position on the running deck based on the heart rate transmitter belts signal. If you position yourself at the front of the running belt, the speed will increase, if you position yourself at the rear of the running belt, the speed decreases. To keep the speed constant you just run/walk in the middle of the running deck. You can adjust the zone limits and this only takes a matter of seconds.

In practice you find yourself leaning forward to increase the speed and the opposite to decrease it, it takes a few minutes to get use to the PSC function but once you have mastered it you’ll feel lost without it. PSC is fitted to Tunturi’s T60, T80, and T85 models and is a worthy feature.
